Music at the Värmland Library
Music at the Library - musical experiences that reach the entire region! Musik på Biblioteket Värmland is a new, exciting concert series that will come to the Värmland region in 2024. This initiative is a collaboration between Musikcentrum Väst, ABF and the Culture Department Region Värmland and is based on a successful model that has engaged audiences in the Västra Götaland region since 2008. Each season, we present a careful selection of acts from Musikcentrum Väst's wide range of musicians and artists. During this year's season we have the pleasure of offering 5 acts representing a breadth of genres and styles, performed by a total of 9 professional musicians and artists. Through this concert series, the libraries in Värmland get the opportunity to book these high-quality acts directly from a pre-selected selection, carefully adapted to create an enriching experience for the visitors. Musikcentrum Väst handles all administration, including booking, contact with organizers and acts, collection of marketing materials and invoicing, making the process smooth and easy for libraries. We always strive to promote equality and diversity on our stages. Our goal is to create accessible, cultural meeting places where music can flourish and inspire in the quiet and inclusive environment of libraries. You will find current artists for 2024-2025 below. If you have any questions or want to make a booking, contact the project manager Terese Lien Evenstad by emailing terese@mcv.se or calling 031-144808.
