Rubinsztein/Karlsson driven by a desire to make people want to dance! With their natural rawness and warm sensitivity, the duo dives deep into the traditional music from Värmland and the border areas to Norway. The combination of viola d'amore and viola d'amore+moraharpa creates a distinctive sound and the duo has developed a tight, seamless playing together. They take up where the older generation of musicians left the songs on and through their predecessors, archive recordings and sheet music, the material has taken shape.

Music at the Värmland Library is a newly started concert series produced by Musikcentrum Väst in collaboration with ABF and Region Värmland. Each season presents a carefully selected selection of MCV's after concerts in libraries around Region Värmland. The series starts in autumn 2024 and this year's program presents five fantastic acts with a total of nine musicians and artists, who will give eleven memorable concerts in eight different libraries.
