Release concert "My Shining Hour"

Since their debut "Time after time" (2020), this trio has developed their own sound based on simple, concise arrangements - the repertoire consists of music from "the American songbook".

Anders Boson's characteristic voice takes center stage and is highlighted by guitarist Rolf Jardemark and double bassist Magnus Bergström.

"The ambition has been to highlight the essence of these fantastic melodies by keeping it as simple as possible. At the same time, we have strived to put our own stamp on the music, based on Rolf and Magnus' playful interplay."

Anders Boson is the singer and trumpeter who, after releasing two pop-oriented albums under his own name, has in recent years developed into a more distinct jazz artist - he has released two albums with the project Anders Boson Jazz Ensemble and is now also recording with the newly started Westman Boson Standard Quartet.

Rolf Jardemark is a guitarist and one of the leading figures in Swedish jazz for 30 years. He has released 12 albums under his own name over the years and has worked with musicians such as Lars Jansson, Gilbert Holmström, John Stowell, Al Harewood, Yasuhito Mori and Lars Danielsson to name just a few. Rolf leads his own quartet which released the album “The ripple effect” the other year.

Magnus Bergström is one of the country's most sought-after and respected double bassists. He is part of the current album Bach Jazz and has worked with musicians such as Christian Jormin, Mikael Godee and Gunnar Eriksson.
