Quilty 30 years | Anniversary tour with Andy Irvine.
Quilty is turning 30 and is celebrating by inviting Irish folk legend Andy Irvine for a musical reunion and tour collaboration.
It will be a rich concert program that presents the best from Irvine's and Quilty's repertoires - with room for both interaction and originality.
Andy Irvine is one of Ireland's most celebrated folk and world music icons and a role model and source of inspiration for Quilty. Ever since his breakthrough with the pioneering group Planxty in the 70s, Irvine's lyrical mandolin playing and his innovative interpretations of traditional folk songs have shaped generations of folk musicians, not only in Ireland but around the world.
