Chamber Choir Mikaeli Sångare gives a scenic concert with French baroque music, so-called airs de cour, court songs from the first half of the 1600th century, with period clothing and props under the direction of Mikael Paulsson. The music has been composed by some of the most famous composers from the era: Antoine Boesset, Pierre Guédron, Etienne Moulinié and Louis Couperin. We get to meet, among others, King Louis XIII, Queen Anne, Cardinal Richelieu, the Duke of Buckingham and the musketeer d'Artagnan and experience the intrigues of the court, love, jealousy, betrayal and power struggle.

The music is performed partly by the choir, but also in smaller ensembles or solo with accompaniment by recorder, four viols, lute and harpsichord.
