Rubem Farias is widely employed and tours the world but wants to come to Gothenburg to hang out and play music for the audience in the city together with the Gothenburg Jazz Orchestra on 5/6.

RUBEM FARIAS – is a Brazilian bassist, currently living in Stockholm, with the whole world as an office. Extremely skilled and virtuoso on his instrument and an outstanding composer and arranger. He has recently been on tour with greats such as Mike Stern, Randy Brecker, Balaio Quartet, Freedom Tree, Rubem Farias Big Band, etc.

ATTENTION!! Delighted to form close ties with the newly formed big band at the University of Stage and Music! They will perform music this evening too!
