Karl Olandersson is one of the country's absolute foremost and most appreciated jazz trumpeters and is active in many constellations. In addition to his own quartet and various assignments as a guest soloist, Stockholm Swing All Stars, Stockholm Jazz Orchestra, Ekdahl/Bagge Big Band, Nine Sparks Riots, Trinity etc. can be mentioned. In addition to jazz, Karl can often also be heard in commercial contexts with major pop acts and TV productions such as Which Life, Idrottsgalan, Let's Dance and Allsång på Skansen.

Gothenburg Jazz Orchestra is one of the most exciting movements in Swedish jazz. The big band has made a rocket career and in a short time established on the highest level.
