An evening of Latin rhythms – samba, mambo, salsa and bolero – a joyful celebration of life and rhythm.
With Claven as a compass and 50 years of love for Latin American music under their belt, pianist and arranger Torbjörn Langborn invites you to a warm and lively evening where swing takes center stage. Together with a group of musicians with deep roots in the Swedish Latin and salsa scene, they celebrate the musical breadth from across the continent.

The evening takes the form of a colorful kaleidoscope where three different constellations take place on stage:
Latin Lab Quintet – samba and mambo with playful precision
SalsaPercussionEnsemble – raw, timeless old school salsa
Jazz con Tumbau – original compositions on the border between jazz and Latin

Between the sets, the audience is treated to tasteful touches of bolero, tango and bossa, as well as some new releases from the year. Perhaps a spontaneous Descarga will also appear – when the musicians can no longer hold back the energy. All this is framed by an interplay where listening, movement and presence take place. An evening for both ears and feet – where the audience is invited to sink in or dance along.
