Based on Celtic folk music, the West of Eden goes its own way!
West of Eden is the Swedish folk music band that has built up a loyal audience both in Sweden and abroad through high-quality song material, the singer Jenny Schaub's characteristic voice and a very own sound with roots in English and Irish folk music.

The band has released twelve critically acclaimed albums and been named "The Best of Contemporary Folk" by Irish Music Magazine. Over the years, they have collaborated with members from e.g. The Chieftains, Mark Knopfler's band and Alison Krauss & Union Station.

During their more than twenty years together, West of Eden has toured extensively both in Sweden and abroad. for example in Germany, England and 2017 and 2019 all the way to China!
Every Christmas, the band also fills churches and theaters in Germany and Sweden when they do their traditional Celtic Christmas tour

In 2021, West of Eden released the album TAUBE where they tackled Evert Taube's song tax.

In 2024, the album "Whitechapel" will be released, a shot in London in 1888 with the five women who would become Jack the Ripper's victims in focus. The songs from the album also form the framework of the performance "Whitechapel" where the audience is taken on a journey back in time to what was called "Hell on Earth" London 1888. Played both as a full set and as a quartet on smaller stages
