Oskar & Jonathan

Outstanding songwriting and interplay both as a duo and as a quartet.

When the third member of the Goodland trio (Hanna Wiskari Griffiths) moved to New Zealand, two were left in Gothenburg thinking about what to do next. They then formed the duo Oskar & Jonathan and started writing new material, did a number of gigs and then recorded a duo album that was released in the spring of 2019.

On the album Panna mot panna, Oskar & Jonathan show proof of their excellent songwriting and interaction both as a duo and as a quartet.

A reviewer in the magazine Lira writes: “Jonathan Larsson knows very well how he treats this instrument (accordion) in a fine-tuned and soft way. Just as easily, Oskar Reuter gives an enchanting character to the harp, mora harp, mandolin, twelve-string guitar and the zither. Oskar & Jonathan also play together with two of their favorite musicians Guro Kvifte Nesheim on hardanger d'more and Anna Larsson on guitar and then form the group Grit Quartet.
