Classical concert pianist with the world as a venue.

Marie's personal Chopin interpretations have been highly praised and she gives piano recitals in Paris, New York, Stockholm etc.

Marie has studied soloist courses at the Royal Academy of Music in Stockholm and at the Academy of Music in Malmö. After obtaining a master's degree in music, she continued her studies in the soloist master class at the Alfred Cortot Conservatory in Paris, where she studied with the famous French pianist France Clidat, also known as "Madame Liszt".

Marie Carlsson has been awarded the Boon Scholarship from the Royal Academy of Music, a scholarship from the Marianne and Sigvard Bernadotte Arts Fund and the Lion Culture Prize. She has also been a recipient of a scholarship from the French government.
