Emilia Amper is one of Sweden's most successful folk musicians, with both a Swedish and an American Grammy nomination, the Norwegian Spellemannsprisen, the Nordic composer's prize the NPU prize, Artist of the Year at the Folk and World Music Festival, world champion title in nyckel harp and Zornmärket in silver (national fiddler) in her luggage. With deep knowledge of and love for traditions, Emilia Amper explores the possibilities of the key harp in music that moves freely across genre boundaries. Her radiance, virtuosity, energy and strong songs touch audiences worldwide.

After two bachelors and a masters in nyckelharpa, Swedish/Nordic folk music, musicology and composition, Emilia has been a full-time freelance musician since 2011. She has toured throughout Europe, USA, Canada, China, India, Hong Kong, Namibia, United Arab Emirates, Brazil and Iran. In the Emilia Amper Band we meet Emilia as a composer, arranger, band leader and soloist, in an ensemble with violin, cello and percussion, and they also do popular school concerts and workshops.
