Elin Teilus is a singer and joiker from Udtja in the forest Sami and Gothenburg on the west coast.

In meeting the lands of Udtja, in the heart of Sápmi, where Elin returned to search for her roots, the joik found her. It is the primal force that carries her out into the world and that touches people's hearts.

As an artist, Elin moves between the deeply powerful and the intimate. Elin's artistry and music have their heart in the love of the earth and the living. The music is both cinematically grand and intimate with elements of world music, pop, show and improvisation. Elin conveys life's stories, shouts and sings with a magical voice and a rare stage presence in soulful interaction with her musicians. Elin Teilus invites you to a world where the rivers and forests speak, where ancient wisdom and the future meet.

The debut album Iellemij – To Life is a tribute to the people and lands of Udtja. It has been described as "...an extremely elaborate and slightly irresistible record". Lira Musikmagasin. The next album will come in 2024.
