Singer, guitarist, composer and producer who has released hundreds of records.

When Edo Bumba came to Sweden, he was already a well-known and established artist in Gospel music on Sango Malamu (Good news).

As a singer, guitarist, composer and producer, in his former homeland DR Congo, he has produced and released around 100 records with songs that made their mark in Congolese music history. Edo Bumba came to Sweden in the 80s and continued his education at the Academy of Music in Gothenburg. After his studies, he began teaching at the same HSM while his musical career gained momentum. With his groups Edo Bumba Band and Amani as well as collaboration with many of Sweden's top artists such as Louise Hoffsten, Triple and Touch, Mikael Wiehe, Mikael Rickfors, Måns Selmerlöv, Regina Lund, Timbuktu and John Ludvig.

With his broad cultural background and repertoire, Edo Bumba works today as a musician, choir director, percussionist, dancer, composer and producer. His productions and collaborations with other artists have taken him on extensive tours throughout the Nordic region.
