A.M.E. makes quirky, wistful pop with strong melodies carried by signature strings and soulful beats. The lyrics are both poetic and universal and are performed with a disarming, personal voice. Live is A.M.E. usually alone with a 5-string electric violin, drum machine and vocal effects and it turns out both catchy pop songs, fragile ambient and expressive improvisations. Visually, the music is often deepened with projections and specific lighting design, and there is room for catchy pop, fragile ambient and expressive improvisations.

In early 2024, her first full-length album in Swedish was released: Let us remember. It consists of 9 stories of betrayal dressed in a dark pop costume. These songs are now followed up with an EP filled with sadness, humanity and relentless faith in art. out on streaming services February 2.

A.M.E. is musician, composer and stage artist Anna Maria Engberg's cross-artistic solo project and she has released a number of albums, in recent years through the label Våga Våga. Anna Maria has played the violin, sung and written songs since childhood and has broad experience from everything from rock, pop and art music such as klezmer and visa, which also clearly shows in her music creation. For a few years she has been working in her own studio, producing and writing theater music. She has participated in recordings with, among others, Alice b, Ian Person, Steget and Jerry Williams, and played live with Det Brinner, Maybe Canada, Steget, David Urvitz and others.
